5 easy today, then played some football with some high school students, and then more football with emaurine

3 this a.m. The goal for these a.m. miles is slow and recovery, however when I am on the track my body just feels like it should be running fast!

Good 5k with emaurine, rest easy running tonight

 Tried a track workout this afternoon 2 warmup

Goal was 12x400 all under 80 seconds @ 3 sets of 4 with 200m jog recovery between each 400 and 2min rest between sets

1st was at 82 uhoh...not a great start

2-4 were at 77,78,77

Felt really sluggish after 4, not alot of energy but figured I would try the next set.

5-8 went 78,79,77,78

Tried to finish the fourth set but after the first 400 (81) I had nothing so to finish the 3miles of speed I did 6 200's 37,34,37,38,38,39 

 Overall, yes I did get the 3 speed in but not as fast as I wanted and not in the form that I wanted (all 400's)

Traveled to Illinois today to see the Family. Grandma's 80th birthday party tomorrow.

6 miles and then a 'boot camp' type workout with emaurine. It was a rocky-esque type workout just using whatever we were finding in the yard and non stop moving. Then the traditional James family football game, before the party.

drive back. this is how short the days are now, we left Illinois about 2 hours after sun up and drove for just under 8 hours and the sun was setting when we got home. Great!
