Went 6 miles with JV 2miler and other coach. We started fairly easy for two miles then did 2 min on 2 min off fartleks at 6-6:30 pace for about twoish miles. Then finished at a decent pace. Legs felt ok today a little tightness in quads but after the first 2min at faster pace it stretched out and felt good for the rest of the run. Have not gotten many miles in this week, hoping that faster pace will make up for it. On the car ride home my quad tightened again so I did a mile jog to loosen it up before stretching it out pretty well. Hope it feels good for tomorrow's workout. |
