This morning I was able to get a workout in because school started later than usual. I did 10x1mile with the goal of each mile being sub 7:00. I thought about doing more or going for a faster time but I have a half marathon saturday and decided this would be a quality workout and hopefully still leave enough in the tank for saturday. The warmup was the first mile, I jogged a 300 for rest between each mile, and did a mile cool down to get me around the twelve and a half mile mark. The splits were

1- 6:58 again the warmup   2. 6:44   3- 6:40

4- 6:33   5- 6:27   6- 6:17    7- 6:38

8- 6:38   9- 6:46    10- 6:54

Overall one of my stronger workouts in a long time. I hope the legs still have a little something left saturday.
