Had to do a run on my own today the varsity runners ran while I was in a meeting and the JV team had a meet today. I found out today I did not get the teaching job I really wanted for next year so I ran to get some frustrations out (i know not the best idea), so I was "flying" (all relative) on an out and back course. I came in the first three at 17:40 It had been a long time since I did sub 6 minute miles for three miles without really thinking about it. However there was another reason, there was about a 15-20mph wind straight behind me, I turned around and proceeded to run back in about 21:20 ( i accidentally bumped my watch(It felt so slow after the first three)) Overall pretty good workout. I can not imagine the boston runners yesterday, today was 75-78 during my run and I was getting super hot! It was very inspiring reading Jake K's post and watching the race last night. 19 days til the marathon and hopefully a new PR.
