Eight today, a bunch of positives from this run. I had no specific goal for today but to enjoy the fact that it was 40s in December, and I did! Before I realized it an hour had past and I was still feeling great, great confidence boost after the injury. I made it through a whole week of training with no ankle injury, which makes me feel that I can start the marathon training tomorrow. Trying for an increase of mileage gradually til beginning of February and then marathon specific. I really think that if I actually train correctly for a marathon that I can break 3! I really hope this winter early spring is good weather because I am feeling that this is the race! Oh reading that 20+ people were going for a group run today was a major motivator getting me out there today, so thanks!

Looks like you had a bit of an injury? Good to see you're putting in 8 and feeling good about it. Sure likes like our goals are pretty similar for training through the winter and shooting for 3 this next year. When's your next marathon? I'm shooting for Fargo in May. Sure am crossing my fingers, too, on the good weather for getting some solid base miles in.

Nice run today!

I just registered for Lincoln in May actually. We were looking at Fargo but the school year ends on that Friday. In reply to your other question weather was 34 here and thats the coldest its been for a while so overall pretty nice! Let's hope it stays like this.
