Five in the cold and wind. Two "warmup" miles two miles tempo negative splits of 6:10 and 6 even then mile freeze down! Interesting observation that my wife and I noticed. When we dated long distance we both use to do much longer workouts! Now that we are married we want to spend time together, besides running, and do shorter workouts. Except when I am gone for a weekend then she gets in 70 mile bike rides and 20 mile runs!

Cold and wind.. I don't like to complain, but I am ready for that warm February! Nice workout!

Not sure when you run, but I've found the only time I can get workouts in and not cut into time w/ family is early am. :( Which means it cuts into the all important sleep instead.

Well we have no little ones running around yet and Elizabeth also runs so usually we get runs in together. Otherwise I run when she is at the Y.

Sounds like good motivation to keep you both getting out the door.
