| | Not a good week. I had the good time trial on thursday but overall just not a lot of energy especially today and also have had some heel pain. Ideally I would have got a 20 miler in today, i will try for this tomorrow.

| | Woke up with minimal heel pain so I thought I would give the long run ago for today. Ran the first 6 with emaurine then tempo for the next 10, that was at 1:11 so just slower than BQ pace but I was careful with the tempo it could have been at 1:10 or faster. Then 2 cooldown, did feel a twinge of pain in the left heel as I began the cooldown so stopped short of 20.

| | Supposed to be an easy hour run, turned into a survival fest. at the 35 minute mark I got caught in a downpour!!

| | 5x2mi with (2:00/.25mi recovery)
Splits were 13:47; 13:17; 13:29; 13:24; and 13:07
Not really sure as to why they were not more consistent, a little upset about that. My 2 goals were: I wanted to start the first one slow since I had very little warm-up and keep the pace 'relaxed' (never be straining). Overall, happy with the workout.

| | Not what I wanted at all this weekend... Was hoping for 20 with at least 10 at MP and got 16 at roughly 8 min miles. Life got in the way this weekend, and maybe it is for the best with only two weeks away...

| | First cold run of the year, windchill of 15 with wind gusts of 35 mph

| | Did not make it far out there in the cold today, was ill informed of exactly how cold it would be (my own fault!!) Did throw in 6x30 seconds uphill and into wind (what was I thinking!!).

| | I really am not trying to have the mileage this low... cold and darker sooner is kind of making it happen though

| | Last big workout. 1 mi "w/up" (at 20 degrees with 20mph winds that is not happening!)
4miles in 27:25; 3 miles in 20:16; 2 miles in 13:37; and 1 mile in 6:37
Only took 10-20 seconds in between to grab water, while jogging trying to 'simulate' water stops (until the water bottle froze!) and then get back on pace.
overall 10 miles in 1:07:55. 1 mi c/d

| | First snow run of the year. At this point, I think the only goal with the run is to not get injured, so I cut run a little short when it got more slick.

| | Two bad parts of the run today, one the run had to be on treadmill - did not want to take any chances with falling on the icy/snowy roads. Two felt a twinge of pain in my left hamstring, hopefully nothing but cut run shorter to make sure.
